Peter Newell Reflects on his Laurelton Experience
Hey Skip,
If your still out there, I have enjoyed wandering through the Laurelton web
site. Thanks for your time. I left Laurelton in 1971 and have called
Houston home ever since. My fairly large family lived at 135-55 Francis
Lewis Blvd. If you ever lived in Laurelton, you probably knew a Newell. I
am the seventh of eight kids. Mom and Dad are long gone, but very happy to
report that all my sibs are still with me. Dad drove the Q5 city bus, and
Mom was a school crossing guard for a while on Francis Lewis. She also worked
very happily at Woolworths for a while.
Anyway, thanks again for the page.
